This device belongs to a friend of mine and also a relative. As I was having muscle message at his clink, one of the machines he owns in that place stopped working.  I have repaired most of his machines in my repair shop so he asked me if I can this device home and work on it.

As you can see, it is a portable device and it is a very effective one.

It comes with pads that can be attached to the muscles which produce intense electrical pulses that work effectively on hurt muscles.

According to the guy, these pads are brand new which shifted my attention on the actual device that stopped working.

The moment I held the device in my hand, I could hear something loose inside. I took the three screws off and I could see inside the device.

Once I opened the device, I could see the missing loose part inside the device and it made sense to me why the device was not producing the electrical pulses.

This was the loose part inside the device. It is a transformer that is part of the circuit that produces the electrical pulses.

I soldered the transformer back on board but I did not turn the machine on.

I saw something else on that device that needs to be taken care off.

The connections on that board were wet and dirty and it had to be cleaned. I used cotton swabs and rubbing alcohol to clean these areas. Once it was cleaned, I cleaned the other side of the device.

The rubber buttons that sits on that board were wet and dirty as well. I dried them off and put the board back on.

I powered the device, wet the pads and put them on my hands. A smile came to my face when I felt the vibration there. It actually felt great as these electrical pulses were massaging my muscles. I called the customer and he came to pick it up. It was not an expensive device but he was happy to see it alive again.

Mission accomplished.
